Corporate Learning & Development

Grow people. Lift performance.

FernLift designs and delivers leadership development, manager training, team-performance programs, and executive coaching for B2B companies. Every engagement is built around your business results, not a generic curriculum.

What We Run

Four programs. Each one earns a place on your training calendar.

  1. I

    Leadership Development

Multi-month cohort programs for directors and VPs stepping into broader scope, built around your own strategy and org chart, not a licensed curriculum.

  2. II

    Manager Training

The core skills a first-time or newly promoted manager needs on day one: delegation, feedback, running a one-on-one, and holding people accountable.

  3. III

    Team Performance

Working sessions for a specific team that is underperforming or newly formed, focused on how that team decides, communicates, and hands off work.

  4. IV

    Executive Coaching

One-on-one coaching for senior leaders, paired with structured feedback from their own manager and direct reports, not generic assessments.

How We Work

The Engagement Model

Every program follows the same four stages, in this order, whether it runs six weeks or six months.

  1. 1

    Diagnose

Structured interviews and a review of your existing performance data to name the actual gap, before any curriculum gets written.

  2. 2

    Design

A program outline built around your organization’s own scenarios and vocabulary, reviewed with your sponsor before a single session is delivered.

  3. 3

    Deliver

Facilitated sessions, virtual or in person, run by a senior facilitator who has led a team before, not a junior trainer reading slides.

  4. 4

    Reinforce

Manager toolkits and a 90-day follow-up check to see what actually changed on the job, not just what participants said in a feedback survey.

Our Philosophy

A leadership program that doesn’t change what happens in your Monday staff meeting was never really about your business — it was a licensed curriculum with your logo on the cover.

We build every program from your own organization: your scenarios, your vocabulary, your actual performance gaps. No open-enrollment seminars, no off-the-shelf modules, no facilitator meeting your team for the first time on day one of the program.

Results

What changed, in the client’s own words.

Leadership Development
-38%Director-to-VP escalations
Before

Eight plant directors managing in isolation, with no shared language for how the company expected them to lead.

After

One leadership operating rhythm every plant director now uses to run staff meetings and escalate problems the same way.

“Our plant directors finally sound like they're running one company, not eight different ones.”

Karen Voss, VP of Operations — Baird Industrial Equipment
Leadership Development
+41%Branch performance-plan completion
Before

A leadership team promoted up from production roles, uncomfortable holding underperforming producers accountable.

After

A shared accountability framework leadership now applies consistently across every branch office.

“They stopped avoiding the hard conversations. That was the entire point of the engagement.”

Angela Ferro, Chief People Officer — Cresthaven Commercial Insurance
Team Performance
-46%Cross-group staffing conflicts
Before

Two newly merged practice groups that could not agree on how a project got staffed or handed off between them.

After

A shared decision framework both groups now use every week to staff and hand off client work without a partner refereeing.

“FernLift sat in our actual staffing meetings. The fixes came from how we already worked, not a workshop binder.”

Priya Nandakumar, Managing Partner — Harrow & Bell Consulting
